Hi Ri-Ri! You're right, Bill Burr is a historian. And George Carlin is a philosopher! Both are outrageously funny. Thanks for the video, Ri-Ri! Please don't be such a stranger! You know we all love ya!

It’s hilarious how Bill Burr will make sports and entertainment references that maybe 20-30 percent of the crowd will get. I’ve seen at least 15 people react to this bit and the BJ & The Bear tv show reference flew straight past all of them.

Hugo Boss DID design the Nazi uniforms. And this is from Coco Chanel's Wikipedia page. "In 1939, at the beginning of World War II, Chanel closed her shops, maintaining her apartment situated above the couture house at 31 Rue de Cambon. She said that it was not a time for fashion; as a result of her action, 4,000 female employees lost their jobs.  Her biographer Hal Vaughan suggests that Chanel used the outbreak of war as an opportunity to retaliate against those workers who had struck for higher wages and shorter work hours in the French general labor strike of 1936. In closing her couture house, Chanel made a definitive statement of her political views. Her dislike of Jews, reportedly sharpened by her association with society elites, had solidified her beliefs. She shared with many of her circle a conviction that Jews were a threat to Europe because of the Bolshevik government in the Soviet Union. During the German occupation, Chanel resided at the Hotel Ritz. It was noteworthy as the preferred place of residence for upper-echelon German military staff. During this time, she had a romantic liaison with Baron Hans Günther von Dincklage, a German aristocrat and member of Dincklage noble family. He served as diplomat in Paris and was a former Prussian Army officer and Attorney General who had been an operative in military intelligence since 1920,  who eased her arrangements at the Ritz."

If you want to blown away in 15 min, watch Thomas Sowell Facts about slaver they don't teach you in school, if you don't already know about him though. Love to see you back more active again!

What do you mean about being blown away regarding slavery? Everyone knows and understands that slavery has been a part of human behavior regardless of race or color. If you are using that as an excuse for our past then you are part of the problem. The issue is that we as Americans inherited that arrogance and superiority from the English. Let’s be honest, in comparison to the atrocities the British committed throughout history we are a joke. The problem is that like the English we want to delete our terrible deeds from history while pointing the finger and criticizing other nations. The fact that we don’t want to talk about or teach that part of American history is the problem and it is by design. And just because slavery has happened everywhere throughout the world, it’s still not okay to excuse that chapter of our history. Nobody wants anyone to feel guilty for things they didn’t do but by denying or excusing that stain in our history doesn’t help anyone in the long run. You know what they don’t teach you in school that is a fact yet the little they teach you is based on propaganda the English have been pushing since the 1500’s. Had it not been for the huge financial support the Spanish Crown and its people sent our way we would have lost the war of independence and we’d be something like Canada is to the UK - a colony or commonwealth of the British. Everything we think we know about the Spaniards in the Americas is based on English propaganda which still persists today. In contrast to that we have a different perspective of how the English really were to the native Americans in the new world. If you want to learn the truth about it just look up the Spanish Black Legend but stay away from British articles or videos including some American ones as well because they still push some of the propaganda.

Ohh copy and paste Wikipedia Her couture house closed in 1939, with the outbreak of World War II. Chanel stayed in France and was criticized during the war for collaborating with the German occupiers and the Vichy puppet regime to boost her professional career. One of Chanel's liaisons was with a German diplomat, Baron (Freiherr) Hans Günther von Dincklage.[5][6] After the war, Chanel was interrogated about her relationship with Dincklage, but she was not charged as a collaborator due to intervention by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.[7] When the war ended, Chanel moved to Switzerland, returning to Paris in 1954 to revive her fashion house. In 2011, Hal Vaughan published a book about Chanel based on newly declassified documents, revealing that she had collaborated directly with the Nazi intelligence service, the Sicherheitsdienst. One plan in late 1943 was for her to carry an SS peace overture to Churchill to end the war.[8]
