This was so great! Especially the styrofoam plates. That is close to 2,000 styrofoam plates that can be used multiple times kept from the landfill. Y'all are heroes!

Remember you can stack old tires on top of each other and plant potatoes in them and as the plants glow you add more dirt. That wide black flex plastic that was in the big dumpster, is used for raised beds.

That was an extreme dumpster diving expedition! Such an array of free items, and people complain about the cost of living, that's because the stores and customers too throw out perfectly good and usable items. Enjoy the bonanza of what you found. I put mothballs under my house to keep the skunks from living (and spraying) under there. They don't like the smell of mothballs. Maybe you could use the mothballs you found to keep the woodchuck away. They just need to be in something that has holes punched in it to protect your dogs from eating the mothballs.

Make your orchard area into your garden put a gate to keep the dogs and cats out. Then sprinkle mothballs around the plants. They work to keep most rodents away. I'm thinking about if you took water balloons ( don't blow them up just stuff 5-6 Mothballs into the balloons DON'T BLOW THEM UP!!! Just poke several holes in the balloons. That way if the groundhog goes into the garden and will smell the mothballs. ( Their sense of smell is greater than a human) but at the same time you won't have to worry when it rains or when you water your plants that the mothballs won't leach into the ground contaminating your food.

You sure packed up your car with some goodies! I don't get the waste that stores do. I especially don't understand throwing away unopened foam plates, I mean really!!! So glad that you all save so much good stuff from going to the landfill. You found some great stuff in that big dumpster. Love that sink, I always wanted one too! I bought a double one used for $20 a few months back. Going to use it on my patio for cleaning up after potting plants or cleaning up anything I don't want to clean in the house. The reason the store threw away all those styrofoam plates is because NJ has outlawed them. Stores in NJ are no longer allowed to sell them (thanks to Governor Murphy 😠).

The "Rubbermaid something" is a washable mop head! Its velcro on one side to stick to the mop and microfiber on the other to mop! They work surprisingly well! All you have to do now is find a mop that holds these and you have a functional mop system! Or you could just wipe with it using.your hand. Awesome find.

Amazing haul FD. The tools, tomato stakes and pink tub got my attention. Moth balls poured into pantry hose and tied around the base of fruit trees keep bores out of the tree. I was thinking FD needed a truck to haul it all home until I saw the precision in packing car. Love FM play by play.

Frugal Daddy got alot of stuff. He always provides for his 2 children and his Beautiful wife. Frugal mommy have you seen all the stores that's closing.Aldi, Target Tyson chicken. Stock everything an all you can get. Even cough and col medication tylenol nyquil, cough syrup, Aspirin, peptobismol, achol peroxide, . And bottled wather.. .so far 40 large stores are closing down. Its gonna get really bad. People has donen started to breaking into home for food. And whatever they can get. Love yall God Bless and God Speed
