This is the chorus, there are variants and this version differs slightly from what I have found online. I have tried to translate based on what I understand from this lovely lady's singing (sorry, accents missing) Adieu la vie, adieu l'amour. Adieu a toutes les femmes. Who is the singer? I have not been able to find her name in Wikipedia. She has such a fine accent I doubt if she's British. Suggestions please!

I have been captivated by the Great War for most of my life, and I am old enough to remember family and friends who served in World War 1 and the psychological distress it caused. All war is apalling but there is something about WW1 that is the most heart wrenching of all. This song says it all. Let their names live forever and Rest in peace.
