@@agufish Check out the KISS song "Strange Ways" especially the solo!! KISS has some good songs but like all bands their "hit" songs aren't necessarily the best representation of the band lol. I like to play along to - Cold Gin, Black Diamond, She, Watchin You and Parasite - those songs have much better guitars than their big hits songs have.

I bought this guitar a few months ago, after a customized setup I can say that the sound is monstrous, it releases power like a Ferrari... sounds better than my Gibson SG. From an aesthetic point of view it is Spatial, a dream, I changed the plastics of the selector covers in the rear and I mirrored them like the pickguard and I must say that it is even more spatial 💥 the only drawback: the fretboard, beautiful but I would have preferred it in ebony, I would have bought it even if it cost more.

This is what I think of this guitar. As of 5:37 pm Tuesday 28 July 2020... I OWN ONE!!! Quality through the roof! Sound you ask... BAD ASS! You want attention on stage, this is the ticket. In your face loud! I love this guitar. The value of this guitar will only go up. I collect guitars but I play everyone of them. This one I will play ALOT! Tommy Thayer is a class act. Great guitarist! Now I have to get ahold of your signature guitar. I will get one! That one looks and sounds great!

I always liked the idea of a Les Paul with a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and a Duncan JB in the neck since they're the two most popular aftermarket humbuckers. Would be especially cool to try that combo in a guitar like this since the Super Distortion is Ace Frehley's signature pickup 😉

I have this its awesome. Epiphone is just killing it lately. The Snow Falcon is also incredible. And the Jason Hook M4 is really good. I never thought I'd have this many epiphones. I got Gibson les Paul's and explorers and I play the Epiphones just as much.

An SG and an Explorer is on my list, and Epiphone has interesting options. What is giving my pause is QC issues I’ve seen on other channels. Trogly pulling out 5 new ones and 1 was good (high frets on the others), and the paint jobs were quite questionable. Caveat Emptor. Sounded like they can be good guitars, but don’t buy sight unseen.

The opening track was a bit muddy for me. But very nice work on the B-roll! Waiting on my Electric Blue to arrive in the mail and this got me more excited about it. The color and all the features look great!

Dude I will totally also tell you. This 2020 Epiphone lineup?.... Has got my 46 year old ass completely reconsidering my entire stance on playing Les Paul's because they feel like a baby guitar cuz I'm such a tall guy with long arms and big hands.but these guitars look so good especially when I watch them in depth on Trogly's video with the purple one. Dude these guitars by Epiphone that they're making these days? For under $500? And they finally gave us back the old style headstock instead of that stupid-looking one? I'm ready for a glittery purple Epiphone right about now.

This is one of those 'don't have to be a fan of the artist' signatures. That colour is just great, I'd get rid of the scratch plate pronto but I've always preferred LP's that way, they just look better without them to me. I appreciate the chrome + wild paint job though. That thing will pop on stage! Sounds killer too. Man. I want one!!!!! 👌✌️😍

Always like your demos! Have you ever measured the pickup position between the bridge compared with a Gibson? It would be good to know if other LP style copies are closer to Epi or Gibson. It may be a reason for sonic difference beyond pickups

Actually his white lightning came in the Explorer and the Les Paul. I have a 2014 Silver Spaceman guitar with the Gibson pups in it and I love this guitar. I bought it thinking some day I would sell it to a big KISS fan but ended up liking it so much it's now one of my go to guitars lol. If the new one is built anything like the silver one it is an awesome guitar and the price is the same as when I got mine in 2013! Myself personally I don't like the flashy blue finish, it's too over the top for my taste but I would like to get one of his white lightning models.

Good video. I've heard that some of the new Epiphones have fret issues. Trogly had a couple with uneven frets. Epiphone need to sort that out.

My son would like to upgrade to an intermediate level rock electric guitar. There is one of these on the shelf I could pick up for him for Xmas. Would this be considered a good intermediate level guitar? He doesn’t play in a band but I’m pretty sure he could if he wanted to skill wise. He’s not a huge Kiss fan so the draw wouldn’t be based on fandom, but he does like purple. I know there are lots of choices and customization is almost limitless but if this isn’t a guitar you’d recommend within these parameters, what other Stratocaster for under $1000 would you recommend? Thanks to all that may offer their time and help!

Everything about this guitar, other than being a LP and having a JB, is what I feel like I should totally hate, yet, somehow I don't. Great review as always! Not sure what Kiss stuff you checked out, but I would just stop at the older stuff, mainly Rock and Roll Over and Destroyer specifically. But of course that was Ace, not Tommy.

I gotta say, I know many people will disagree with this but I prefer the the Epiphone ballon headstock over the new headstock. The new headstock doesn't work for me and I had no problems with the old headstock. I've always loved that damn ballon headstock lol

I had a JB in the bridge and hated it. It was piercing and had that "ice pick" sound that so many complain about. I swapped it with a Duncan Distortion and was much more pleased.

I love blue sparkle on any guitar. If I were to get one of these I'd probably switch the pick guard for a 100% transparent one so you can see the blue sparkle more. I'd also probably replace one or both pickups.
