I love this video 😊! I'm a fraternal twin. My mother is dark skin and my father is light skin. Eventho both parents are black we constantly had to explain why we were so light. We were born with white skin, blue eyes and were identical until we were 4 yrs old. Then our skin was brown with hazel eyes. At that point the only thing identical about us were the eyes. My sister had sandy blond hair and mine was dark brown. My twin died 3 yrs ago 😢. We loved being twins and seeing the uniqueness of other twins. TY for this video. I'll end my story with what my twin and I said every night before bed, "twins forever, I love you".

Saw a movie about those twins from England, this movies was shown in the 80s. Now that I have seen what he said about these twins, they "may" be different than the ones I saw the movie about in the 80s. I looked it up....it is them, found out there is a new movie about them from this year.

Thank you for such a great video. My name is Sharisse Jones, and I was born 1/2 of one the rarest forms of Conjoined twins. (Ischiopagus tripus), We were joined at the pelvis, with our trunks in the same axis, (and our heads at opposite ends). We were the first of this type to be successfully separated in 1968.... Now that is rare!!! I lost my sister Sherrie when we were 37 years old, I will be 56 in June this year.

Yep. I was thinking, ok that is cute, but different parents kind of makes that not- “-we’re soul twins.” And I stand corrected, my bad young ladies, please carry on. Arguing that soul twins is not a thing is the same as arguing that humans have no souls at all, and I am NOT GOING THERE. If we got souls then soulmates and soul twins have to be a thing. End of the day it is just really wonderful that the parents of these soul twins share and accept the rare bond their children have.

Hey, I just finished watching the video about twins. I really enjoyed it. I lost my identical twin sister in March to cancer. It is hard. But, once a twin always a twin. There is nothing like that bond between siblings. You don't have to be identical to feel that connection.

We have a number of twins in our humongous family on Dad’s side, who himself was a twin but sadly Dad’s twin died. The bond between genetic twins is really quite remarkable and formed a large part of our post graduate training.

The real danger I think when twins are born is the fact that they are not seen as two separate beings and all too often they are dressed the same do most of their activities as one and are very often called the twins instead of being called by their given name at birth I know it looks cute and sweet when they are dressed the same and are with each other all the time but it’s not always a good idea as children we rely on our siblings for validation and support and love but we soon become adults and have to live our own lives I think it’s not always the same for twins who have been brought up to identify as a single person

My niece has 10 children of mixed color and 2 of the girls were born 1 year apart on the same day (Thanksgiving) and the are like the Silent Twins only speaking to each other, their brothers and sisters, mom and certain family members, even in school they rarely speak. The last pregnancy was twins; though it started out triplets, a boy and a girl. Just thought it was interesting that her girls do that..... I'd never seen behavior like that before, I thought maybe because they were so close and born the same exact Day!!??!! Also, my niece breastfed all her children. June and Jenifer were born and raised in Wales, UK. It wasn't racism that caused this... they started this silence when they were three years old, before they even started school. It started as a game some toddlers play... but they got stuck in that game somehow. When one of the twins died the other twin was able to somehow snap out of her silence and lead a more or less normal life.
