I loveeee how this looks on the lips, I could definitely see a monochromatic moment with these! As a fellow melanated girl who has gone through a facial burn, it took mine a couple of years to fully get back to normal. You didn't ask for any advice but just in case you decide you want to treat it, I hope you don't mind me sharing with you that the thing that helped me the most was microneedling! Especially if you end up with a scar that's lighter than your skin instead of darker, topical products don't help that much after the initial healing of the injury. Yours looks much cooler than mine so I'm glad it's not upsetting you too much. Feel better soon!

I have been thinking that chemical peels will help even it out along with vit c and E. Hopefully, maybe.

@@Ohemaa If your scar ends up lighter than your original skin tone, chemical peels might make it worse unfortunately, I had to learn this the hard way :/ Lighter scars can mean your pigment cells are damaged and peels can exacerbate that. Hopefully yours will end up darker because that's definitely the easier version to treat, especially with topicals!

I’ve had a couple of potentially scarring events happen to my face, and here’s what helped me: first, cocoa butter. And I mean no frills cocoa butter - like from the African market in Brooklyn. 😊 I had a bad friction burn on my face that routine application of the cocoa butter helped. It’s not immediate, you have to be patient. The other remedy was Vitamin E. Like bust open a gel capsule of Vitamin E. Again, routinely, and it takes time. But that also helped when I got stung with a jellyfish on my face. (Crazy story. 😂) Those are both “old lady” remedies, but they have lasted this long for a reason. Also, DRINK WATER. 👍🏾😁 Thanks for the great content. ❤️

I'm so confused on how to use these honestly! They look so pretty on you I liked the first shade I tried (marigold glow) but I feel like once i blended it out it turned pink? I tried perky poppy glow thinking it'd be a bronzier glow but it did the same thing. It swatches so much prettier but I can't figure out the right way to apply because applying it the way I do my blush isn't working 😥
