It makes me so happy to see colours that are inclusive for all women!!! I’m so conscious of the privilege I have as a light-skinned woman to just walk into any old drugstore and find a shade that will work, not just in foundation, but blush, contour, bronzer… Companies do not have any excuses for creating non-inclusive shade ranges at this point.

I try to support and purchase now only from brands that have full shade ranges (Fenty, Pat McGrath, Rare) - but it’s disgusting that all women can’t walk into Boots and just grab an emergency concealer if they forgot theirs. Why do we need eight different shades of beige and get only one “darker” shade with a red undertone?! I know it’s not your job to educate me in any way shape or form, but I would love to know what I can do to help push brands to be more inclusive.

You're right that they used to stick together! Fenty just announced (maybe last week?) that they were phasing out the magnets in the Matchstix packaging to reduce environmental impact. Love these shades on you!

When they first launched the darkest shade was called Espresso which is now the 3rd darkest. They extended the range to Ebony and Caviar, and tbh on my tone, Ebony is a good contour

I'm so glad you found the right contour! The warm tone of Ebony doesn't look bad on you at all but you are right it is more like a blush. You have flawless skin! Also your curls are fabulous!

I’ve always love these sticks and I don’t know why people say they don’t blend or they are too dry and patchy. I have oily skin and always prep my skin and these match sticks glide and blend out so effortlessly.

They did stick together but she got rid of the magnetic packaging to make them better for the environment. Also I warm mine on the back of my hand and have no problems blending.

Thanks Ohemaa! I love your videos because you’re a natural teacher. I love makeup, and as a fair skinned woman I can often find my shade. That said, when my friends of color ask for some of my favorite products I want to be able to tell them who has amazing shade ranges AND textures. I think we’re starting to see that companies understand they can’t get away with crappy tan shade ranges, but also we don’t all want the same formula either! There’s too many brands to not have a wealth of options.

TFS Ohemma. I believe you're correct. I have Ebony and use it as a bronzer. I also use a brush to apply it from the product....couldn't get the lines on my face to do what I wanted. It is beautiful on the skin for those who are able to use it. I also use it to bronze my nose with a small brush. Im not much of a contour person but Caviar will cut a face Honey.

LYS Is very creamy and definitely will needs to be set, but it’s also a bronzer so it’s a bit warmer. Caviar is a contour so it’s cooler and also a matte finish so it doesn’t need to be set

I'm definitely not a poc, but I kinda get what you mean with not finding your shades. I'm very very very white (and yellow, I typically use a yellow colour corrector as a concealer) and I've kinda given up on findign anything to match me lmao Although, I do have more options, obviously, but idk. I know that the we both and people darker than me have trouble finding our shades. But if we say nothing and just give up like I did before I decided to try this we won’t find the products that work for us. You know? So don’t give up keep looking post where you can I bet there is someone out there who knows of a few yellow tones concealers you can use.
