It's just a reverb pedal, but makes for a really cool effect. It has to be just perfect or it will sound different for every performance. Saw them here in Austin and it was just amazing.

What worked for me was turning distortion way up, resting my cheek lightly against the strings while my mouth face the bridge of the guitar. Then scream and try to aim for as much feedback as possible (stand close to the amp etc.)
