You're making me want to get a touring bike and get on the roads and trails!

Just found your videos, and am loving them - You are doing what my wife and I are starting to get involved in, and I am learning a lot from your experiences. The only mild criticism I have is that when your videos go to all background music, it is significantly higher volume than the vocal sections, and I have to turn it down, then back up for voice. I need to keep it in mind for my own (hopefully) future videos…

Yay glad you and your wife are getting into it. So fulfilling! Yeah you’ll notice audio wonkiness in those Ohio videos. It was before I bought proper editing software. I think you’ll hopefully notice a difference with more recent ones like my C&O/GAP trip. I switched to Adobe Premier Pro from PowerDirector.

@@DeniseLookingOut thanks for info. Am starting to edit video from OTET ride we did 2 weeks ago. Likely will use iMovie as a newb. Did the GAP 5 years ago and want to do the whole thing, so really looking forward to your C&O stuff - it’s how I found you!

@@tedbiggs3301 awesome. Good luck. I’ll subscribe so I can watch your OTET adventure. My C&O footage might be my favorite of the whole ride. It’s such fascinating ride along the canal.

Miami Scenic Trail looks sweet. i was just talking about wanting to bike tour Ohio and southern Indiana. Seems interesting.

Do it! It’s a great area to bike tour. The next time I roll through will be doing the full Ohio to Erie Trail!

Another cool video. I just booked the camping for our tour this summer. One day we will be doing a similar route - going from Buck Creek State Park(a little beyond John Bryan) to Caeser Creek. We actually sat out a rain storm at that Brewery in Xenia last year. Keep up the great rides and videos!

Thanks Tim! Much appreciated. That sounds like a great bike trip. Can’t wait to see your videos of that upcoming trip. Y’all are gonna have a great trip. I’ll get back to Xenia when I work in the Ohio to Erie Trail. It’s a neat little town.

I live in Dayton and I’m just starting out on a new part of my life and adding bicycling to my life to get in shape and to be healthier. Did you know that Xenia is the bicycle capital of the Midwest?

Yep Xenia. Just rode through there on the Ohio to Erie Trail.

I'll be in the Dayton area the first week of August. Just me and my bike. Looking forward to riding the trails. Any must ride ideas, let me know. Thanks.

So many good trails there. Depends on how much time you have. Definitely take the Creekside Trail to the Little Miami Trail. From Xenia go north to Yellow Springs. If you have more time take the Little Miami south. I didn’t get a chance to but the Great Miami Trail north looks nice. I went south and you’re pretty much riding on the riverbank. Have a blast!

And we ran into the Miami Valley Astronomy Club while they were viewing planets and stars!

Yep. And there is no way I could have captured that on camera. I still can’t believe some of those telescopes. 🔭🙌🌠
