I agree it’s a pity she had mechanical problems which was why she was taken out of service I kind of wish the age of steam Roundhouse had the SugarCreek Ohio tourist operation to be in addition to the neighboring Hocking Valley scenic Railroad it was one said that Sugarcreek was the Ohio version of Strasburg Pennsylvania because Sugarcreek like Strasburg is an Amish country

I wish so too. It should run on its native tracks in Michigan. That engine used to roar right by my house long before I was born on gtw mainline. I mean I love all trains but I'd love to hear some steamers going past. Unfortunately CN has no interest in a steam program like UP does
@TheUnflushedToilet
@TheUnflushedToilet 2 жыл бұрын
@@cjstibitz2130 Good luck trying to convince CN to allow that, maybe if they can get it into Owasso with the PM 1225 and soon to be restored 175 and let it run on the GLC trackage, if the 6325 ever does run.

Beautiful Engine, kinda a shame that she hasn’t run for a long time but she is in good condition so it’s that she might return to service but only time will tell Plus I feel if 5629 was taken care of better and at least cosmetically restored then they could have her at the age of steam roundhouse along with 6325

Probably because it was on the B&M 3713 model from K&L Trainz. He used the whistle from 6325 because it was comparable as there was no real recording of 3713’s whistle at that time.

@@amtrak_121 If you listen close you'll hear a clunk for every revolution of the wheels. This means the bearings have been turned into ovals or the main driver is running slightly out of true (this could be in the thousandths off). The engine had been having troubles with bearings overheating, which is what originally sidelined it. If you listen closely you hear it in the clip. Also of note, 1309 for being freshly overhauled seems to have some similar issues.
