Ohio State Marching Band In The 2025 Rose Parade

Anyone else watch the ABC coverage of the parade this morning and realize how little they actually showed us of the parade and feel angry like I was? Especially when they gave Jackson State more air time than Oregon and Ohio State who are playing in the bowl game and should’ve been featured!

I was furious and went to Facebook and X and found we weren't alone. Thankfully many tagged ABC and let them know they did and horrendous job.

@ I’m just mad now at my local NBC affiliate for choosing to not carry the parade feed. From videos I have seen, that would’ve been the version of the parade I would’ve preferred. It had better marching band coverage.

I think the purpose of the parade was to entertain the crowd irrespective of who was playing in the game. Apparently they thought Jackson State was that band.

I agree - we can't count on the TV networks. I've loved watching the parade and game over the years and wanted to go back (was there in '87 with a friend). So this year we went with our 2 kids (Buckeye grad twins now 29). Definitely took quick planning and $$; but was well worth a BUCKEYE WIN!! Only downside was LA area traffic (no surprise there). GO BUCKS vs ND !!

Wife n I tuned in to see OSU marching band. Didn’t expect Oregon band up front. They are very inclusive and we love it. Then Oregon band GOT MUTED!! LOL! What pettiness!! Have a great game, may the best team win! P.s. That should be the team with sportsmanship - so not Ohio State ;)
