I was at the 1978 game. Clemson won, not because they had the better team, but because they were better coached and motivated. Game 2 was the same story. Game 3, Clemson was clearly superior in all aspects of the game. Last year was a travesty. The worst officiated game in CFP history enabled Clemson to win over a better Ohio State team. This brings us to 1/1/2021. I think Clemson is better than Ohio State. Trevor Lawrence is the best CFB quarterback since Peyton Manning. The Ohio State defense is not as good as last year. However, Dabo has made a huge mistake saying OSU does not belong in the Playoffs.I predict a disrespected Buckeye team will make Dabo wish he had not opened his big mouth. It will be a great start to 2021 for Buckeyes everywhere.

You can talk about revenge and all of that. The bottom line is that if JK Dobbins catches two very simple passes, Ohio State wins that game going away last year. But, he didn't, and they didn't. Did the officials hose them toward the end of the game? Most definitely they did, but again, when you don't pull your end of the bargain, you open up things like the officials to steal the game away from you. Ohio State outplayed Clemson for 75% of that game, but between stupid penalties like the targeting on Shaun Wade that would have been a punt and instead Clemson wound up scoring a touchdown, and Dobbins dropping the aforementioned two very easy passes that would have been touchdowns, and the outcome changed. you want things to change? Make the plays that you're supposed to make. Dobbins also got run down from behind on what should have been a touchdown earlier in the game last year as well.
