I wasn't suprised at the 31 to 7 lead, but I was surprised Notre Dame put up 16 unanswered points. I was getting nervous. I think Ohio State forgot to attack them.
@AntonioDiMartini-i6e2 сағат бұрын
Yeah I've said that too, every game. They seem to let their foot off the gas and almost let teams back in it. Go conservative. They went up 21-0 on Tennessee and it was 21-10 at the half. 34-0 against Oregon and let them make it 34-15. And today. Just don't put the dagger in.
@Reggie2kj2 сағат бұрын
They get back into their old play calling😂 No down field passes, Inside zone runs with the Qb/RB . I get it , it worked , I’ll take it … Shii is worrisome though
@AMDG_JMJСағат бұрын
100% agree with all these takes. They won, and that is great. But, had they kept the foot on the gas pedal instead of milking the clock too soon, they probably win 50-20, or something like that. That would have been nice, but I'll take a win in any way!

Yep, kinda cool how OSU was the first to win under the 4-team setup and now the 12-team. They also got one under that old setup of taking the top 2 teams (that one against Miami in 2002). 3 titles in 23 years. Nice!

I hope a lot of those unrealistic fans can eat their words about Day! I still feel like he isn't the only one to blame for failure..I know the expectations are high for this team..At least be realistic and not quick to jump on just the head coach to be fired!! Congrats to OSU&Day!

A small site I frequent went all in on the "Fire Day" click bait for 2 weeks. It was fun watching their frustration as the desperately tried to backtrack and save face, triggering them by adding "We're not letting you back on the Buckeye bandwagon." The trolls left, the Day haters left, and the regulars left - last I checked, their entire front page of 35+ blogs had 0 comments.

I’m beyond stunned…. I’m one of the life-long, 2nd gen buckeye almuni that never gave this team a chance after the UM game. So, much so I didn’t even watch the Tennessee game (initially). I’ve never been so glad for being wrong in my life, and couldn’t be more proud of this team, and Day….and especially, those returning seniors who came back to accomplish this very goal. And, the fact that this is a historic victory for college football as a whole, makes it all the more better. Those kids all stuck together, and got stronger through the worst of it, to overcome some brutal adversity. I hope they enjoy this for a long time. I hope Ryan Day’s finally got it figured out, and this is the start of a Ryan Day dynasty at Ohio State. He’s a great mentor to the kids. *Trump got inaugurated, and the Buckeyes won the Championship. It’s been a LONG time since having a day this incredible. Here’s to an incredible 2025 to all Buckeye fans everywhere. Let’s milk this for all it’s worth.* 🤔

It's arrogant for a winning player to claim God having a plan for him to win, as if the players on the other team were bit players. There is no knowledge about His plans, even if that delusion is a great motivator.

They lost to the standing national champion their arch rival at home 🤯 People are gonna talk about this Michigan and Ohio State season for decades. But if Barcelona and real Madrid can meet for a super derby If river plate can meat Boca jrs in a super derby We need to make the first game of next year's season about Ohio State getting redemption in week one at Michigan home in a super derby Boy ohh boy if not that loss at home will hunt them forever
@AntonioDiMartini-i6e2 сағат бұрын
hahahaah. YOu MUST be from Michigan. I don't know ANY Ohio State fan that cares about that Michigan game now. i certainly don't. Its even sweeter that we lost and bounced back to win it all. For me its even better than if we had won the Michigan game. Great teams are resilient. And this team showed it. No one will remember that Michigan game now. They would if we didn't win it all, but not now. When the KC Chiefs win a Superbowl, they don't care about a regular season loss to the Bills

@ And you aren't from California...or you would know that no one in Ohio cares about that and it won't haunt us. You are definitely from Michigan. They can't stand that we are the champs and want to try to stay relevant.
@AMDG_JMJСағат бұрын
@@AntonioDiMartini-i6eMichigan fans are so amusing! Trying SO hard to keep their team relevant! Lol! I feel a little sorry for them (as it must be tough coping with being so irrelevant and powerless to stop their rival). And, besides, I think they know, as we do, that their win against OSU was a huge fluke and that it's likely that, starting next year, OSU begins another streak of victories over UM (UM has a cute little 4-game streak over OSU now, but it's likely OSU returns to dominance over UM starting next year, just like those previous 20 years when Michigan got a mere two wins in 20 years over OSU). I think we all know (including UM fans) that OSU is likely to get back on another dominant streak over UM soon enough, probably starting next year (whether it's AS incredibly dominant as 2000-2020, when OSU won almost every single game, sometimes in utter blowouts, we'll see!)
