Ohio State Update - Slow Start Concern & Previewing Indiana

The slow start stuff is a misunderstanding. OSU scored 4 TDs on its first 5 drives. That’s hardly a slow start. If the other team receives the opening kick, and wants to sit on the ball, they can do that. The results always come out in the end.

Ohio State is just better in every position. Indiana is gonna find out real quick Saturday.

If the defense which is the side guilty of the slow starts would stop the opponent on 3rd down the offense would score sooner.

Respect to Indiana this year. However, its not just a favorable schedule - all their opposing teams not only were none of them ranked - they didn't or still don't have a winning record! That includes the 3 G5 teams they played.. Penn state kept it close with #2 OSU and previously beat 4 teams with a winning record. Again, IU can't say that. Which is why I don't have problem with PSU ahead of IU. Nonetheless we have to give Indiana props. They’ve done well against those teams they were given. Even at Xichigan -where they won on a down week. That said IU really needs a real test before the AP, CFR, and non-IU fans can give them real respect. Saturday gives them that opportunity.

Is it better for a team (like Ohio State or Oregon) to lose a game and not make the conference championship, so that they can get an extra week of rest?

I think I'd rather win the Big Ten title and get a first round bye in the playoff.

Look at Indiana's schedule and tell me that Indiana was pick to become 10-0. I don't think so. It's hard getting out of the mirk and mire while everyone keeps reminding you that you are no good. Now you face a powerhouse team and you think that "Rocky" isn't going to fight!! Indiana has been waiting for this fight for a long time. Once Indiana wins then people will say that Ohio State had an off night.
