@@LL-cuh I've been subjected to both for training and I disagree. Also, nobody uses mace anymore; you're thinking O.C. (pepper spray). O.C. is plenty effective for the most part. It is _seriously_ painful. Even if someone is tough/high/trained enough to shrug that off, they're not going to be able to see much. The bigger risk is that you catch some yourself, due to wind or contact. I'm not sure if you're conflating TASERs with stun guns (what's a 'civilian taser?'). TASERs, they either drop you like an 'off' switch or they do nothing (former is way, way more common). The electrodes have to make skin contact, so winter clothing is a problem. And there are very rare people that seem almost immune to them, somehow-but that is exceedingly rare. Keep in mind that there are also very rare people who keep fighting after several gunshot wounds, so...there's really no 100% silver bullet that you could legally and practically carry, defensively. But I would assert that O.C. and/or TASER are worth considering, _if_ someone is willing to practice and educate themselves on their use.

thanks for testing it out on video. i was frustrated with reviewers last week who had it in their hands but never even tried it out, just reading out the manual. for $300, worth showing how it works. i’ve seen one or two other led flashbangs (when researching more about this) that are in the same price range, so i guess that is probably why this one is also ridiculously expensive. there was a relatively cheaper one for airsoft, but poorer contruction and not as nice as this one. plus this one has more options although too high a price. not a disposable or collateral unit unless you don’t mind treating $300 of gear as such.

- idk where they came up with their price. The government has deep pockets so maybe that’s their target buyers

Apparently someone doesn’t know what flashbang means. You can get a flashlight with strobe effect along with one of those personal alarms. This is by no means a flashbang

This device appears to be as disruptive to the user as the intended target since the strobe and sound keeps going on. The entire premise of a LSD is to distract and disorient the target quickly, thus allowing the users to move in while the other is disoriented. With this, everyone is getting the same disorienting effect. What is the point?

It's a great "Night Surprise". I can't adjust my eyes within 6 seconds, so bang, bang, and done. Please dont come again, intruder 😅
