Ohiopyle State Park, PA/ Ferncliff Waterfall/ Pennsylvania Nature

Stopped by for a brief visit at Ohiopyle State Park. There are many trails, sights, and activities to explore here. This is only one view of many. Ferncliff at Ohiopyle Falls is an area of exposed sandstone rock strewn with large slabs and ledges of rock along and above the Ohiopyle Falls offering an up close encounter with the nearly twenty foot tall large volume waterfall... This incredibly beautiful State Park and waterfall remind me my motherland's landscape in Pamir mountains. These sounds of water was part of my life. Our home was near the mountain river and was even a waterfall with big stone in the middle. But river was more narrow. I had a cat Max,my best friend. One time I jumped on that big stone, Max jumped to me and fell in the water. I don't know how I was able to grab Max by the tail ,but I did. But cow of neighbors was less lucky... Mountain river is very dangerous, especially in spring.

Hi Marina! The Pamir on the roof of the world. A most beautiful landscape of majestic proportions! I am sure that Max was very thankful for the amazing rescue) The flowing voice of the eternal river. A soothing lullaby from the mountain. Yes, Spring melt can be very dangerous yet mesmerizing in power... The poppies have blossomed out with Navruz... The nightingales come out to listen to the tambourines tune... The fowls of the air has sung together... My hearts fowl has flown out from cramped cage...
