It was a great event joe thanks. I came late but got to see some of the machines in action and got a chance at the prizes! The kid that won the dewalt chainsaw, that was awesome no one was more deserving! Can’t wait to see what it grows to next year!

Looks great! Wish I could have made it, but that darn job... lol. Some nice looking machines there! Tell you what, aside from my chainsaw, my Log Ox is the best money I've spent for making farwood. What a back saver!!! Add a pickaroon, and a couple of axes- and I get more done than I know what to do with.

Same here, but I will say the hauler is like gold. The rest is nice but it's not Logrite as a cant or pickaroon, for example. Multi tolls tend to be that way. The hauler is tremendous. As is the wood sling. Excited to see what the splitter is all about there doing.

Quebec has a stellar history with their manufacturing. Traditionally, they built some huge industrial forestry gear..brute strong stuff. Now they build some great small items...backyard work for smaller contractors and specialists.

Joe, you'll be very impressed with the Wolfe Ridge 17RS as a resplit machine and as a small scale firewood production machine. Can't wait to see what is in the "secret box". The Eastonmade processors are built like tanks. Brute Force also makes nicely made equipment for processors and splitters in their price class. You definitely assembled a great variety of processors and splitters, something for every budget.

Had a great time at the show. Close to home and met a bunch of great folks. Only gripe is you parked your tractor at the entrance and it bottle necked the entrance for vehicles coming and going. I really appreciate your efforts and hope you host it again next year

That was deliberate. I wanted a bottle neck there to slow down the cars entering and leaving. Also it provided a buffer for the foot traffic heading up to the Timberwold, Bruteforce, and log trucks. Thanks for coming

There is a major pipeline valve company that uses shrink fits between the ball, stem and trunnion on their valves from the smallest to the largest. This company has been building their valves this way for years and years. I’ve never heard of one of their valves having a problem between the stem and ball. These valves see tremendous side loads from the differential pressures when they are closed. It is the best testimony I know of for the integrity of a shrink fit. I also share your anxiety for making the joint and for the soothing power of a cold beer! 😂

I was one of a few that brought hearing protection to last years show and most folks looked at me like I was the idiot 😆It was uncomfortable in a way at times but kinda amusing too lol. The noise this year will be 3x last year. Good point.

Had a great day. It was worth the 8 hour drive. It was great talking to you. My only suggestion for next one, as I mentioned to you, was to have a display of all the firewood species in your area. You could have a table set up with each and make it a game or contest to guess by the bark and grain then turn the piece over and it would have the common name and the scientific name. I was hoping to see some gum there but I couldn't tell it if I saw it. Also the red oak there is much different in the bark from here in eastern ontario. A firewood expert needs to be able to identify their species. Thanks for putting on a great show Joe.

Hey Joe. I say it was worth the 14-hour drive from Maine to attend. Also, it was good to talk to Tom about the outdoor wood boiler. I'm planning on going up to his place to ask more questions that I may have between now and then. The other is I've had BBQ once pryor to your event and was awful. It tasted like kreosuit. FYI. I'm not the greatest speller. The BBQ that u had at your event was like night and day. It was 10 times better than before. Overall, I had a good time chatted with afew people. Asked questions on a splitter that I wouldn't mind owning someday. Lastly. If you do the event again next year. I'm planning on staying a few days longer to do some exploring. Aka see the sites around youngstown, cortland.
