It’s not waste. I grew up in a farm, this is part of quality control to see if the fruit will have the desired taste. If you look carefully, there are sprouts at the bottom, meaning this particular fruit is overripe and will not survive shipment and will rot if they sold it. So it’s better to use as organic fertilizer and as a quality control test rather than let it waste in shipment and affect the other fruits in shipment.
