The scenario i know and used is the Amp rms output, say 1000 watts the speaker should be at least 1.5 higher in rms value ( 1600 rms watts minimum) as the amp can easily push upto and over 1.5 times rms the value. As a rule never drive any amp to full power, thats what shortens their life.
@MightyAction8 ай бұрын
SO YOUR THE SECOND PERSON I HAVE HEARD THIS FROM, BUT I LIKE HOW YOU SAID MINIMUM.

🙏🙏🙏🙏i would never be too big to learn the Amperage details really thought me respect and manners !! I always wonder why when i play my sound on 120v amps become heated but when i switch to 220v i also see a increase in spl plus limiter wont kick in

Going to two 2 separate receptacles to get 240v is not wise in a 240v circuit both breakers must be able to trip simultaneously if theres a fault.

The arguement about the high wattage amplifier and low wattage speaker to me is untrue…. In that case its all about your levels and how much your letting your amplifier give your speaker…. Thats why amplifiers have level keys/knobs etc to control your amplifer output…

This is the most natural theory And broken Down nice Very much grateful for this Most of what I've put together has come from what I've have watched on mighty action Bless you king from corey aka mr platinumprovocateur here in the the UK 🇬🇧 thank you king One quick question I've the Admark AD442 and use 6 x double 18" subs 8 ohms @ 1200rms 2400 peak I did say to my article friend that should put on each channel in stereo He reckons doing in bridge and playing 3 on channel A&B and the other 3 on channel C &D bridged I personally don't think it's wise and use in stereo 1 on each channel with another amp . We operate at 240v in uk 🇬🇧 London. My other question is regarding the Admark AD442 which would be the better sensitivity settings on the dip switches on back Would welcome greatly your input as so far you've guided us nicely Bless mighty action keep it up you have my subscription endorsed. Look forward to any lives also keep it up

In a series circuit you add resistance not multiple playing a 32 ohm speaker wont damage your amplifier if its rated for a minimum of 4 or 2 or even 1 ohm it's when you go below the minimum resistance value of the amplifier then it produce more current than it can handle then comes the pain.the explanation on the line voltage is a bit off 120 vs 240 volts supplying the the amplifier its like this you are correct on the current being lower on the 240 volts and it would be cheaper on wire size to run a sound system but that's only on the primary side of the transformer or the switch mode side however the the power rails will be the same if you notice the output of the amplifier is the same it doesn't have a output at 120v and a output at 240v it's a misconception nuff sound man have that a amplifier more powerful at 240 than 120 volts.

@MightyAction6 ай бұрын
if you match your speaker is not getting the power it needs. your loosing power in the distance of the cables. try 1.5 or 2 times the RMS an see if you can tell the difference. guarantee you will thank me for it. but I'm not trying to change your mind. with that said, thanks for your input and respect for sharing with me.
