Oh, the lyrics for this are very very tricky, and it doesn't fully translate to english. This song is based on the genre "Trova Picante Colombiana" that is full of double and triple entendres, and sometimes the words are changed before they are finished (usually a naugthy word), and because of the rhyme you can understand it, but you can't think too much about it because that same new word starts the next verse. Examples in this song: "Hoy me sabe a pura miér-coles..." (Today it tastes like pure wednesday), it was supposed to rhyme like "Hoy me sabe a pura mier-da" (Today it tastes like pure shit). And one of the meanings of the song is that he is in mourning (hence the black shirt) because his dick is dead since she left ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This song in particular is really hard to be understood in different languages due to the MASSIVE slangs that Juanes uses in this song, slangs that are mostly used in Colombia and only there. He also uses puns and phonetic tricks to cover curses with other words but, when pronounced we in Colombia tend to associate it with such curse due to how we pronunciate it. Example: 1. [Y fue pura] todita tu mentira. Here we tend to mislead it with hijueputa (son of a B.) because of how Juanes sang that line. 2. Lo que ayer me supo a gloria hoy me sabe a pura [Miércoles] por la tarde... On that one he covered the word Mierda (shit) with Miércoles. Why? Because in Colombia when we want to say such word without sounding rude instead of Mierda we say Miércoles. Example: Eso es pura mierda // Eso es pura Miércoles. This one specially is taught by our mothers to avoid cursing around. This song was also released when many of us were kids so Juanes plays an important role of the young adults of Colombia nowadays and we didn't even get it right the first time back then.

This song use to make me cry cuz she left me in a most painful way. Same as it is reference to in the song. The black shirt is a symbol of mourning. The defunct (dead) is underneath. He is talking from his similitude (a different version of himself). All because the woman left. That is why he damns the day he met her. That was the day she spellbound him. So now his love is mourning. Still breathing in the bitterness. The glory that was yesterday; now tastes like shhh.... that's why he no longer loves her. He notes at the beginning that it's not because he is poor or ugly, but because he was desirous. This whole experience turned his soul black (dark).
