Actually the place where you went to have lunch is connected to Gongdeok station! You didn’t have to cross the road to get to the station. I kinda noticed it cause I lived in Gongdeok for more than 10 years. Although I dont live there anymore, It’s nice to see you visiting Korea and my old neighborhood. I definitely relate to you on language barrier. My family is from the DR and I’m a first generation born in the USA. My mom never taught me Spanish but my grandma did and it was difficult cuz I had to speak English while attending school 😭.
