I love this book, I read The Jungle by Upton Sinclair as well. We need someone like him today. I prefer Oil! over There Will be Blood, I feel like there was a lot of wasted potential in that movie, I wish they would have taken more from the novel, but it is still a great movie in its own right. Do you plan on reading the rest of the novel? Also if you enjoyed this you should look into Germinal by Émile Zola. Im glad I got to read it very gripping plot.

I am a huge fan of the LibriVox community! I have so much respect for what they do. But I do not respect the 1:1 aspect ratio they use for thumbnails.

I've thought about it but they are different characters. The book version of this character is very different, and I did not wish to conflate the two.
