Great video Bro, I want one, I did some research and got some information that a OCC can increase crankcase pressure and cause issues in the long run. Do you feel thats true or any issues you faced after install?

@@samaniyash9210 thanks bro! I haven’t heard of that to be honest. I’ve seen many people run these oil catch cans on our forte GTs with zero issues past 100k miles. I haven’t run through any issues at all personally. I think it’s worth the benefit of an oil catch cans with our GDI engines

Holy crap… installing now and I cannot for the life of me put the hose on the catch can…. I’ve been heating it up and and almost have one but there’s no way I’m getting this second one

@@Jeffe4506 interesting… have you tried stretching the whole to make it wider? Since it will be clamped, you should be ok once it’s on.

@ ok so you don’t think I need to have the hose all the way to the base of the valve? I have it over both baffles, but not quite touching the base of it. If I clamp it, you think I should be ok?

@@marck.5116 I haven’t checked yet but it definitely is worth it since I know my engine will be cleaner in the long run. I will be checking it next oil change and it is very beneficial during the winter time since it collects more oil during that time frame

@@josephquiseng3885 it’s always hard to say since I’ve heard Kia is very hard to deal with when going through warranty claims. I’d make sure it’s all off prior to going in for warranty work at the dealer

The catch can is in and out both sides doesn’t matter if you swap left to right right to left the whole hose it will not cross over and look more oem and why do you flip the ground wire there is no need also bracket should not be inside ground wire rather just ontop

@@LuisMAmaro any catch can will do the job, you can get sxth or mishimoto. You’d have to get the universal kit

Which side is the in and which is the out?

Not sure to be honest, but due to the one way valve direction pointing away from the catch can, I believe the left is out, right is in.
