New Oil Filter 490-201-N010.
Needs 1700ml 10W30 motor oil, get it here: amzn.to/3n5pTy9
I used a Pepsi bottle to make a custom chute for the old oil.
I used a Windshield Washer bottle and cutted the handle to make a pan.
I used a piece of electrical wire, a wrench and a pair of pliers to improvise a tool to remove the old oil filter. Worked perfectly.

When tightening the oil filter by hand, you don’t have to turn it that tight. Just a quarter past snug is fine. Another way is once the gasket makes contact with the engine block, turn it 3/4 of a turn and that’s enough. It’s not an ultra high pressure system so it will not leak.

I did not know where to find the right size oil filter for this because it is a Chinese Briggs ‘Clone’ motor, but I just used a Briggs & Stratton filter which is a little larger in diameter, but it’s still fit the mount snuggly. Just bought one of these exact machines used and it is in very good condition and has been maintained, but it did not come with a manual.

Just drive a long screwdriver in one side and outthe other side of your old filter and it comes off really easy.

Bonjour. J’ai enfin changé ma courroie de coupe. Mais votre modèle ne correspond pas à ma machine Minirider. En effet, j’ai un tendeur de courroie qui a la forme d’une poulie. Plus pratique que votre vis. Je dois avoir un autre modèle de machine. J’ai pas le temps de faire un nouveau film, mais j(ai pris des photos et des ordre de démontage, et les clés. au cac ou, je suis sur KZbin aussi. Du coup, j’ai changé la bougie, vidange, filtre à huile et l’année prochaine, j’affûterais la lame. Montage de la machine sur 4 agglos creux de 20x20x50 Mes salutations. Bernard.

I bought it new and still does the job. It ain't fancy... Pretty simple. But works and can even mow backwards. So no need for me to buy a more expensive one. So yeah, I'm pleased with it.

@@TheChug its new. I only connect it when Im going to drive it. It starts and it runs long time. When I try to turn it back on the battery doesn't have enough charge to do it.

You could check if the charging system works on your lawnmower. When it's running at full throttle you should see a noticeable voltage increase with a voltmeter at the battery posts... I should try that on mine!!

I used a cable cause I didn't have the right tool on hand. It was just and old cable, so didn't care about breaking it... And it's just a trick to remove a filter if you don't have the tool. Thanks for the question.

Depends what ounce unit you use, is it imperial or American ounce? I use liters which is universal and this engine takes 1700 ml.
