Oil Could Hit $150, Says Continental CEO

Oil is headed as high as $150 a barrel unless the US government does more to encourage exploration, according to Continental Resources CEO Doug Lawler. He speaks to Bloomberg's Alix Steel.

The price of oil is currently propped up by deliberate production cuts. If oil hits $150 per barrel, a lot of secondary supply, not controlled by OPEC+ would come in, and the price would be unlikely to stay that high.

"depleating" There is no physical oil shortage, only supply disruptions and market manipulation by OPEC+. We will never be abeal to run out of oil. Calling it "fosil fuel" was a marketing stik to gett people to think it was of limited supply.

$150 Oil is a good thing. Less affordable oil equates to less carbon emission. $200 is even better and an exorbitantly expensive $500 is best.

I don't believe that the USA has as much oil as we say. We are squeezing shale rocks to maintain oil levels. OPEC does not have to use oils sands or shale.

OPEC knows the USA can produce more oil. The USA wants the Arab countries to produce more of it so that the USA politicians can claim they are being super green. In reality indirectly the USA democrats are causing the price of oil to go up.
