Oil Lamp Introduction. In this video we see an overview of some oil lamps purchased for around $7.00 a piece. These lanterns are a great secondary light and heat source to keep around the house in case of a power outage, Besides just looking nice on a shelf.

we didn't have electricity for quite a few years when i was growing up so we used these and old school candlesticks! I have about five of these now. when our electricity went out the neighbors assumed we were running a generator. :) And your lil Lady Pup is Adorable!!! Looks like Gunner is a great doggie to her.

Lady is ADORABLE! I've never considered oil lamps because of the fire risk.

Thanks we love her. We got her some pink tennis balls today. She loves them and so does Gunny lol. There is risk involved with the lanterns just as any thing else in the world. Klein heat is a better oil for lamps and it's cheaper bout $10 a gallon
