Splendid concise beautiful and informative! THANK YOU! I greatly appreciate the time and effort you put in to the painting, writing lucid terse narration and the clear video. You may take it as further praise that your diction is elegant. I can understand everything you say even at 1.75 playback-speed. That is MUCH better than others who mumble and ramble on incoherently without a script. You stay on topic. Each sentence is informative and helpful. This is the standard by which other video "art instructors" should be judged.

Thank you so much I truly appreciate your comments. There’s a lot of work goes into the videos and to have a comment like this made my day. ☺️

Beautiful, when you glaze, do you lightly cover the entire surface of the fruit with the oil or is some survice left just with the acrylic?
@MazArtStudio2 жыл бұрын
Anywhere I put glaze there’s no oil. You can’t glaze over a wet surface so if I’d have painted the fruit under the glass with oil (which I could’ve if I’d wanted another layer) I would’ve needed to let that dry before glazing. So to answer you the parts under the glaze are just acrylic in this particular video. Hope this helps ☺️
@foreverjoy93348 ай бұрын
So, do you need to absolutely cover all the acrylic under painting it can you leave parts as acrylic. I am wondering this because of varnishing. Will oil varnish be ok over acrylic that’s left showing 🤔
@MazArtStudio8 ай бұрын
You can leave parts of the acrylic showing yes. I use a retouch varnish (allows the oil to breathe). which happily goes over touch dry oil and acrylic
