Hey, thank you so much for making this video, as a beginner who’d like to avoid solvents, could you tell me more about how you achieved such fluidity in your brushstrokes and structured your process without using g them? Do you use other mediums to modulate the texture of your paint? If so, when/in what quantities do you use them throughout the painting? Thanks a ton for your help, it means a lot

Congratulations Alex, you are a magnificent artist. I noticed that the first layers of color you put are very light. When I put very light colors I can't pass darker layers over them, can you explain to me why this problem happens to me?

Thank you Alex. It was valueable to me watching your processa. And congatulatuons. That is a beautiful painting. A right drawing and adorable brushwork. May I ask you a question? When you stain your canvas with the light gray, do you wait It to dry? Therefore, this wash is thin? Thanks again and god bless you with a Nice year! As well keep blessing your craft!

@@davirosa my pleasure! I am happy you enjoyed it. The gray ground has to be fully dry prior to starting the painting. I prepare a batch of paper in advance.

@@alexkasyanartist5942 Roger that!! Thanks for your reply! It will be handy!! Do you use turpentine just in this stage?
@alexkasyanartist5942Ай бұрын
Actually no turpentine at all, straight oil

How do you prevent pushing the pigment that has been placed in the anterior layer since the painting is still wet?
@alexkasyanartist594212 күн бұрын
@@claudiavillacorta4536 the answer might be in using the right brush that is not too coarse. I am sharing some new videos of my painting class where you can watch my demo in real time and see the brush stroke application.

I really want to see the painting in the upper right corner of the frame, the big one. Idk why its driving me nuts that I cant see it.
