Thanks so much, Andrew, for that thought-packed demonstration! Your ideas about facing the challenges in a pressure situation, and to not rely on the grids and projections, to "draw it out" , find the 3-D and the PoP! Will look for you and Renaldo👏👏👏👍👍

I like that you took some artistic license with the background, got a little crazy and abstract. Not your usual thing; I'm glad you're experimenting! Love the podcast by the way! I listen to every episode. Thanks Andrew!

I do have one question... is flake white interchangeable with crimnantz white for transparency?
@AndrewTischlerArt23 күн бұрын
It should be, as long as the pigment in the tube is basic lead carbonate. Some companies will use zinc in their combination, it's best to avoid zinc.
@rellaingram420523 күн бұрын
@AndrewTischlerArt thanks. I definitely avoid zinc! I listened to the Virgil Elliott podcast you did.

My favorite s a 55-200mm zoom on a Nikon 5200D. Give a great telephoto image- nearly no distortion at all, with a great limiting depth of field. Most people want to buy the reference too!

Yes it is, the previous version we put out had what's called a "de-esser" applied to the voice. I didn't like the way it sounded so we reverted to the original mic recording. Still, same video, but yes, it's actually me talking and no, I'm not a robot... LOL

My top tip: no white. No white except 3 in the face at the end.

This portrait is great but the nose should be a bit longer.😮

If you want it to be exact use a grid or trace the reference image. He did mention that was a little off but he also said to "Draw it out" to learn new skills.
