Oil Painting Process

In this tutorial I will explain how I build my oil painting layers to add interest. This is my second session on the painting. In this session, I'm introducing the Oleopasto medium by Windsor and newton. It stiffens the paint and is useful for adding depth to the paint layers. Creating an oil painting is a process and can require multiple sessions to arrive at the vision you have in your head. I seek to end each session at a good point in the painting to build enthusiasm for beginning the next session.
