In the old hippie days, she's what we would call a "trip." Wonderful attitude and so much fun. I don't know how you found her, but so glad you did. Utah and Moab are endlessly inspirational, and she summons the colors with the way she lives her life (to paraphrase Graeme). Wishing her the best.

This is an intellectual, professional artist with great spirit. She knows her subjects intuitively as well as factually. Her works are extremely well-informed and her creative, positive spirit inspires.

What a wonderful lady & life she leads, how she paints the grand canyon is how I see it in my mind never having been lucky enough to visit, the colour and warmth and the peace in her work is just beautiful

What an amazing crazy lady - one of the most interesting artists you've featured on your channel. Unlike many of us, she made the decision to pursue her dreams and I suspect that when she eventually 'moves on to tackle the great canvas in the sky' she will leave our earthly studio with no regrets and no unfulfilled ambitions. Definitely an inspiration to us all. And I just know that when you left, she put a Frank Zappa L.P. on the turntable :-)
What a fantastic video with such a great artist- very inspirational and I love her vitality and life philosophy.

What an inspiring artist to say the least.

I paint with my art board on my knee and when my art tutor came to my home to give me al lesson, she was horrified and started to move my furniture around and putting my art board in different areas of the room to find out what she thought was best for me to sit at an easel to paint! When she went away I was so shocked and exhausted … I could not believe what she did … I learnt nothing about improving my art and I never worked with her again. Having my art board on my knee to paint works best for me and that is what counts. 💋

Love this video, thanks Graeme! Serena's stories took me back to my youth, canoeing on the rivers and lakes in Maine. Great inspiration!

An awesome story. I never knew about the original inspiration from the woman gone tobogining on a ice chest in mud! She probably doesn't even know what her candy-ass created! Do you still have the drawing for Mighty Colorado?

Wayne thanks so much for your kind words! I do still have the drawing for Mighty Colorado! And the Crystal painting is coming along great. Thank you for your patience, i am excited for the Mighty Colorado to go home with you! I'll be heading to Phantom at the end of January, soon it will be yours!
