A beautiful painting. I especially like the mountains, they are grand. I love the row boat having a reflection which does show the boat's shape. Same with the mountains, showing the mountain peaks in the reflection.

Thank you!! Right?! Well it's actually just a storage space in our front garage. The house is small but the extra storage space makes up for it tenfold 😂😂 downside was the effort spent getting it ready. Fingers crossed it pays off. I have some ideas for tutorial #7

Thank you! I love Bill. He had a very abstract feel to his paintings, and I really liked that look he achieved with the thickness of his mountain paints. Something else that made me giggle was how we would often spend more time talking than actually painting, yet somehow he would still complete the entire scene! Amazing!

what do think of oil paint where you can use water

Did you see my brush wash video? I use water in my brush wash and it works just fine. Why pay more money for a specific paint when it works with what I have? I use the Bob Ross paints and mix them with an oil/water brush wash. I can thin it and use it just fine.

when you mix paint how do you know what is to much or too little

You just have to try it and see how it goes. Painting is a learned habit so sometimes you need to make mistakes to know where the line is

Hi I have been watching your painting for like 3 months now and I must admit the first started watching you at first scared me but after a few minutes I saw what you were doing I got to trust you but after awhile I started wondering how long does it take to braid your hair which has nothing to do with art sorry but that distracted me sorry dumb question

Thank you! Yes it takes a bit of time, but I played sports al my life so it’s second nature to braid my hair now. Usually takes me about 10 minutes - it can take longer if I’m doing multiple braids though

It's all about repetition. For me, I just had to keep trying to paint the waves. As you continually try, you will find new ways to get the look you want. Eventually you will find what works for you and you will start repeating some of the steps that work. With your request in mind, I'll see if I can come up with a simple tutorial that can help address some of the common difficulties with painting water :) Thank you for your comment! I hope I can help!
