I was just watching lotr the return of the king this weekend and thought of painting Arwen, although after I had been also eyeing Gandalf in some scenes 😅 (and then I ended painting entirely something else) Gorgeous painting, I have been meaning to try yupo, I guess I came by that from your earlier videos and now got a good reminder to buy some at some point. I love using ultramarine blue and burnt umber, possibly too much - some of my watercolor paintings have ended up looking a wee bit too gray because I'm obsessed with the different gray tones I can get with it!! and, to be fair, the "too gray" paintings were also painted on an overcast day en plein air so maybe it's not a bad thing

Oooh that's awesome! Honestly, I recommend any soft synthetic brushes for gouache! I've only used the Winsor and Newton designer gouache, but I think they're fantastic! Are they cadmium paints? I use a cadmium red and yellow often, I just try to wear gloves and have good ventilation! 😊
