All your batteries are out of sync, so you're not burning off any natural gas for power because the natural gas battery is higher charged than the petroleum battery so it never hits its mark. You'll want to get them in sync or change the settings on the battery so natural gas generators actually run. You'll over-pressure soon otherwise.

You should Always make a bridge at pipes junctions. The one with no bridge will have priority and the green output will only allow flow when the main pipe has space for its content. Bridges are also the best way to empty pipes. Just add one at the end you don't need anymore and revert flow all the way back to the source by adding an output.

just a hint, remember to check pressure for liquid that is encased within. more likely than not they are extremely overpressured because they was solid before that.

I have an idea Section off a nice big chunk of the Ice core with two or three layers of insulation, vent excess heat there, get a bunch of Pacu, let em loose in the ice core section, let em breed, and farm em. Infinite Sushi. I think. I don’t play this game and don’t know what pacu use for sustenance.

If you want I can share you a few screen shots of my custom sour / natural gas system using a volcano and steps on how to make it. Tweaked it a lot so it is highly efficient and requires no dupes. Haven't seen anyone else make one as I have done. As long as you have one volcano (any will do) and a oil well, no exotic materials needed. With that you can run around 25 natural gas generators with it. (3,333L crude into sour gas and then into 67% methane + sulfur 33%, methane becomes natural gas @ 2,23L / 90g/s = 25 gens). All carbon dioxide, heat and polluted water is recycled automatically as well.

Instead of carbon scrubbers at the bottom, you could just dig down into the frozen core. CO2 will freeze and drop to the bottom. How effectively it is I have no idea.

You dont want automation on the hydrogen burner from the oxygen setup. There is a chance that it will stop using the hydrogen and back things up. Just have the hydrogen as a constant feed in for the main grid. Hydrogen power isnt much but it prevents backups that clog the electrolyzer setup.

why you lower your high treshold of your generators so low? should all high treshold set to 95% and only adjust low treshold? you know if power usage is high so all generators are working at the same time but start in different treshold level. now they work only in one fuel variety at time and if power drops really low only coal generators works. (sorry about my bad english skill.)

You are partially correct. There are two main schools of thought on the best way to control the system: School 1 example: Hydrogen (100, 90), Natural Gas (100,80), Petroleum (100, 70), Coal (100, 50). If your grid ever drops below 70%, your Hydrogen, Natural Gas and Petroleum will be on, and they will stay on until network is fully powered. So if you are constantly running so much power that it overtakes the Hydrogen and Natural Gas, the Petroleum will be added to help out. This would cycle through these three types to maintain power between 100% and 70%. School 2 example: Hydrogen (100, 90), Natural Gas (90,80), Petroleum (80, 70), Coal (70, 50). If your grid ever drops below 70%, your Hydrogen, Natural Gas and Petroleum will be on, but the Petroleum will kick back off when it rises to 80%. So if you are constantly running so much power that it overtakes the Hydrogen and Natural Gas, the Petroleum will be added to help out and turn off and on to maintain power between 80% and 70%. This comes to personal preference, do you want your petroleum to kick on only when you start a large load that you will only see intermittently? Or, do you feel it is necessary to turn on the petroleum generator until everything re-stabilizes, even though the only issue is that the dupes decided to play the jukebox.

Why don't you use gas pipe element sensor and gas shutoff it is so much better than gas filter. You can even use it for liquid now that devs have added liquid element sensor.

Why mop up the oil? If it's there it well keep things cool. Pipes can't freeze if you keep the flow under full. So put a valve on it and set it to 1000. It will not change inside the pipe and freeze. Or so the story goes.
