Nice upgrade. Definitely saw improvements with my TT02 with Oil Shock upgrades once I added more power. High speed Gear set & Adjustable motor mount is a must on these cars and improved top speed for me, while giving you pinion/ gear ratio options

Cheers for clearing up the wheel situation.. I kept looking at this car but kept seeing it with the narrow wheels front and rear and couldn’t work out why? I love the look of the wide stance at the back with the rims turned around. Deffo gonna order one now .

I've bought all of your mods. Love this car. Are you listening Tamiya?

I thought C6 were included in the kit. It wasn't till i noticed the txt on page 4 saying you have to buy part no 51529 to get the C6's. The part sprue's as a spare part must be different to the kit supplied one's even although they're the same nbr.
@schuttrostig57294 жыл бұрын
on kits where you dont need them they are removed, thats why that is in the manual. i have no idea what tamiya does with all the spare parts.

I got what I thought would be rubbish Chinese’s shocks for £12 for a set of 4 and they turned out really good, and half the price of Tamiya

Oil shocks are a must upgrade for sure, but I see that you didn’t put the tubes inside the friction shocks.. there are rubber tubes you have to put over the shock shafts and add grease. Leaving those rubber tubes out will basically be a pogo stick. The rubber tubes control the bound and rebound just like a shock piston would. Great video series!

Integra DIY TT01 & TT02 don’t Run the type of Friction Shocks you are referring to. The older Style run the rubber insert
@IntegraDIY4 жыл бұрын
RC Action Australia gotcha, that’s weird they would even put those in the box! Tamiya might as well say “shocks sold separately” and save the person from a headache
@RCACTIONAUSTRALIA4 жыл бұрын
Integra DIY yes it’s often disappointing that Tamiya don’t include bearings and Oil shocks in most kits. TT01-02 are pretty entry levels kits but. I think part of the thrill is modifying and customising anyway.

Yeah put in lights. I regret not doing that on mine as those stickers that suppose to look like light are awful.

Oil Shocks make a much bigger difference than most People realise... At speed, they keep the Car far better planted. 😉 Don't think so? REMOVE the Shocks from your Luxury Car in the Driveway, and pop down the A6 at about 70mph. 😳😳😳😖 I put Yeah Racing 60mm Aluminium Shocks on my TT-02 Rally. Slightly cheaper than Tamiya CVAs... And considerably smoother and more sure footed on turns!! 👍👍 I CAN'T BELIEVE that Tamiya set the TT-02 Front Track up like that, with a Porsche Body. 😖 Pants!!! 😡😠 Good fix Gavin! Not only LOOKS better, but moving the Wheels outboard will really improve high speed Steering. 😁 Carmine ✈🚂🚙

Yes very noticeable on the Tamiya F1s. Much better asphalt grip.

Hi there, iv just got a Tamiya neo scorcher tt02b and was wondering what sort of battery to use in the car ? Any help greatly received. Thanks for all the videos you do for us really does help. Might seem silly to some but there are people, like me, who know nothing about this hobby but want to learn how to get the most out of there cars. Thanks again 😁👍👍👍👍
