Canucks PP isnt that bad. Check the season. Oilers just simply make it look bad. If you actually WATCH the entire PK on nhl66ir, you would know that the Oilers played really well. Just look at their puck movement in the D zone and the aggresivity.​@@MPlain

You are really missing a lot. The Oilers are pretty deep, 5 of the xurrent top 12 playoff producers are Oilers, and their defense has been mostly really good ever since Knobs took over. They've been one of the best 5v5 teams since then, too. I feel like you're getting a lot of old information from somewhere. I don't think Dallas is gonna have a fun time at all. Can't say who will win, but it isn't going to be easy for either team

Dallas beat Vegas - 98 points Dallas beat Colorado - 107 points Edmonton beat Los Angeles - 99 points Edmonton beat Vancouver - 109 points Edmonton's two opponents thus far were better than Dallas' opponents. Even with their supposed defensive problems. This is going to be a tight series and it wouldn't shock anyone if either team won.

@ohockeyshow9584 vegas isn't mid, vegas was mid. They played like shit heading into playoffs, barely got in, than had their team try to piece it together on the fly. Not enough time for that frankenteam to mesh, or else they would have been scary with their depth. Like 4 of their stars played at 80% for the first game. Statistically, the oilers had some of the best defensive stats in the entire playoffs and special teams hitting almost 125% combined. I dont care about the teams they played. They showed up and won and absolutely dominated vancouver defensively minus game 1 and 4. They also absolutely shut down LA as well. Goaltending hasnt been the best, but it doesn't have to be with this teams depth and star power. They need .905-.910 goaltending, not .940. As for shutting down a few players its not just a few its 6 or 7 players right now, and the bottom 6 just need to see off their matchups. Just feels like an absolute mid take to say these things when they won 2 rounds, if the D and goaltending were as bad as you say than they would have multple sub 3 goals against games, great defensive anyltics and wouldnt of won against a very deep vancouver team. Dallas is a great team, but every team left is as well. Super close matchup, coin flip for both series by the end.

In fact, if the Oilers hadn’t shot themselves in the foot like Dallas did in game 1, series wouldn’t have gone to 7. Vancouver only won one game and that was game 5, the other 2 were gifted to them. One regular season game does not define or even give an indication how any series in round 3 will go.
