Given how it all turned out, everyone sounds incredibly naive. Especially Greta Van Sustern, who assumed Denise Brown's tears for her murdered sister would have to move any juror. After the trial, I remember hearing a lot of female jurors say they felt just the opposite, and implied Denise was faking her grief.

Because it was a mostly black jury. 8 blacks, 2 Latinos , 1 Native American, and only 1 Caucasian. They can all basically relate to this narcissistic, manipulative, sociopathic liar. This jury was obviously an ignorant and naive group of impressionable people. After all, it was downtown L.A. 🙄

Nice time capsule. It's unfortunate that the prosecution left too much reasonable doubt with the jury. No surprise in the verdict. LAPD miscues right from the start created an uphill battle for the prosecution. Marcia Clark had chances to rectify that with key witnesses, but decided to not call them to testify -- namely (1) Jill Shively who was in a near-miss car accident with OJ in his Bronco near Bundy within minutes of the murders and (2) the husband of American Airlines employee who saw OJ dumping contents of a bag into a trash can at LAX airport the night he flew to Chicago. Two huge mistakes by the prosecution.

Lance Ito was one weak SOB. He completely coddled the defense, esp Cochran. He was terrible and should have been released, especially after his wife, Margaret, was brought in and he got so emotional about it.
That was pretty bad acting by Ito. I was shocked he let Simpson ramble on for 2 minutes when he was supposed to just yes or no about testifying. Incredibly bad judge. He let defence run the courtroom, and trial went way too long, thanks to all the time he gave them to go on and on about irrelevant or minor issues.
