I remember back in 1st grade, I experienced my first crush. He was a boy in my class. I only had one friend and nobody really liked me because I had an overactive imagination. I confessed my crush on this boy during a group project with some kids who were talking about their own crushes. I got teased for liking him and soon everyone in our grade knew. The boy, who was once semi nice to me now treated me like a parasite because he was embarrassed that an "ugly" girl liked him. It didn't effect me that much since I didn't have a HUGE crush on him, but all the teasing from the other kids effected me greatly and for many, many years I just kept to myself when I had a crush on someone.

Here’s a funny, awkward little story from me: So I went to the same school for about five years and for seventh grade I changed to a school with a better online program. Since this was a new school, I didn’t know anyone, and they didn’t know me. It was even harder to get to know each other through online. (Oof covid) anyways, about halfway through the online school year I had to go to breakout rooms in music class and I ended up with two boys I hadn’t talked to before. It was all well and good, my camera was on because I was trying to be a good student. Suddenly one of the boys unmutes his mic and says, “(insert name of other boy) has a crush on you!” The other boy briefly turns his camera on and says something like “stop it” or something trying not to laugh. Me, not knowing how to react, and still trying to process if that was directed at me, (obviously it was) I just ignored it and pretended I didn’t hear them. I still think this was a funny story though. Have a great day/night :)

Here's mine. It was an inside recess and me and my best friend (and the teacher) were the only ones inside, we were early. My friend did the thing where you pull two sticks and whoever's names were on them were "bf and gf". My bestfriend "happened" to draw both of our names. My face started turning BRIGHT red and my teacher looked up, she yelled "I KNEW IT!!" and started grinning. The next day, we had a new seating chart. She sat me next to him. One day, he asked a girl out.(he does this to everyone, but this time he had a whole group of other boys following and supporting him.) Girl had a mental breakdown and ran away. I was literally just watching the the huge crowd of boys. Few hours later, girl was perfectly fine and happy. Counselor came and told everyone to delete videos or photos of said situation. So I liked this guy throughout the year. My math teacher was hated by a lot of people but really liked me (literally said I was one of the good ones in front of the whole class) She was known to move kids a lot in class. In the first quarter, (we have 4) she moved me next to this one guy (let’s call him Markus) that is best friends with the guy I liked at the time (let’s call him Lukas) I really didn’t think anything of it and then throughout the year we became actually really good friends and I started to like Markus.It wasn’t much but it was still there. I then eventually told Markus that I liked his Lukas, and Markus told his Lukas that I liked him and then I was told Lukas had no idea who I was (I’m getting to the point I promise) after me and the guy I previously liked, Lukas, Were best friends throughout Elementary school and a little through middle school. It kinda sucked at the time and it put me in a dark place. So I was always late to class and I kinda slacked off. Markus noticed this and kinda started to help me more. We became really close. And the teacher always kept us next to each other. We talked all the time and laughed during lessons but we never moved. The last day of school he walked out of the classroom. I was always the last person out and I was honestly curious why she never moved us. I casually brought it up and her exact response was “because I knew how much he liked you” and sis my weave flew to mars. We are now dating and have been for about a year. This did not happen to be me but one of my friends, we will call her Gia (not her real name). Gia liked this guy since preschool and it was now 6th grade. She decided to ask him out (he had a gf at the time we just didn't know about it cuz middle school dating in my school was very on off and not serious at all) and he said no. He pretended to like her too and told her to ask him out. For some reason... she did and he said no. she laughed it off cuz he said it was a joke and told her to ask again. Once again, the douche said no and asked her to ask him a third time. This time he said yes, they dated for a full 10 seconds over text before he asked her to 'rate' his friends out of looks and personality. My friend, Gia did not feel very comfortable doing this because she did not know any of these people well enough to judge their personality nor did she want to rate their looks so she told him this and he pressured her into doing it anyways. The dude told her to rate his gf (he didn't tell her it was his gf, we found of ltr) out of 10 and she gave her a 5 for both things because she did not know her well and a 5 is like an idk number. He got really mad at her for literally no reason and then dumped her. My friend was confused about it for a few days but moved on with life. The next week the douche had the audacity to ask her to take him back saying he felt awful about what he did to her. Her being the hopeless romantic she is decided to take him back. I don't remember what exactly happened because this was a few years ago but basically he forced her to do something that she didn't want to do again and she apologized cuz for some reason, she REALLY liked this guy (ima call him Chad cuz... yeah.) Chad then said that just because Gia wasn't listening to him, he was gonna dump her. Now, mind you my friend was the fastest typer in our grade so before he could finish dumping her over text... AGAIN cuz their entire relationship if u could even call it that was over text, she told Chad that she was actually dumping him and she deserved better than this. Btw throughout both of these weeks I was on a call with her trying to help her out with this guy. Now, a few days later (I think he needed time to process just how much of a loser he is) Chad got really mad at her for dumping him and created a whole chat group and told everyone to spam her for dumping him for no reason. One of our mutual friends was also added on the group so she added my friend and showed screenshots of him being a horrible person to her and us finding out he was technically cheating on his gf. Anyways, everyone got super annoyed at the guy for wasting their time and he lost half his popularity. On top of that, his gf broke up with him and started dating his BEST FRIEND just for a little revenge. Sisters before misters, never been more proud of my girl. Love ya Gia 💅
