Ok, so some of these stories reminded me of an ex of mine. He and his mum were really close. When she used to get a bit tipsy, she would sit on his lap, kind of wriggle and writhe and run her hands up and down his chest and say "ooh, it's really sexual isn't it?!" whilst giggling and he would just sit there with a stupid grin on his face! The first couple of times I witnessed this I was really shocked and grossed out but it happened so often that in the end I just found it funny because it just looked ridiculous! Her boyfriend used to get really pissed off though! But seriously, it's not normal is it, it really makes me wonder...😕

It's not that unusual to share a bed with your mother if you're both broke or don't have heating in the winter. Growing up, mom would call it "The Ultimate Sleepover" when we shared a bed in the winter. She also couldn't afford to get me a new bed another time and the mattress i had was constantly stabbing me with springs, so she told me that the reason she wasn't going to get me a new one at the moment was because she missed me and she'd feel less lonely if I just shared a bed with her. When I got older (like in my mid teens), she told me all about how much she hated sharing a bed with me and how she barely ever slept when we did. Apparently I used to kick and move a lot in my sleep. She's confirmed that I don't anymore because we still share a bed on occasion if we travel (which we drive somewhere in the country a couple times a year to admire nature) and I can't be without electricity when I sleep or a proper shower for medical reasons. We're both female though, so it's not that weird, but I can understand doing it if it's needed.

Wholesome meeting the family story bc I think we all need it now: so when my boyfriend and I went to homecoming together (this happened like a week ago btw) his parents came to take the pictures bc his dad is into photography. Then we all went and got pizza (they weren't like there in a creepy way it was just far from both of our houses and they decided to hang out and talk while we sat separately) and then at one point his mom found out I like pickles. So she made homemade pickles and gave him one to give to me at school. It was really good :)

We were in college (still just dating at the time) and one day his dad came and visited us for about an hour or two in between two of my classes. It was my first time meeting him. My husband just talked to his dad the whole time about sports and I had nothing to say. Both of them speak Spanish and afterward, when he asked his dad what he thought of me, his dad said I was very “tranquila”. I told him that was probably because they were talking about sports the whole time and I just didn’t have anything to say. Ugh. When I told him he felt bad. It was quite frustrating, but things worked out.
