Instead, the comment is referring to the Japanese individual, which means the other person could be any race, and the culture strictly known in Japan. Based around that culture, reasonably, the expectation is that they would not act this way and that someone must have caused it. It’s similar to anyone vs the uhh.. “Queen’s” guards (?). Based on how we know they are meant to act, we can deduce in a situation that’s abnormal that at least most likely the other person started it as the guard would only respond the way they did under abnormal circumstances.

As an Asian-American, this also is a cultural difference. Many Asians will blindly defend their own people, even if they did something wrong such as being racist, in order to "save face." So instead of owning up, many Asians will say "this is how it is, if you don't like it then go back to your country" and thus will redirect & shift the blame onto the westerners who get upset at racism, instead of focusing on the issue itself and trying to fix it. Whereas Westerners feel more comfortable freely admitting when they, or a fellow westerner, has done something wrong because admitting an issue is not seen as something dishonorable to do, but is quite the opposite.

@@averageuser2027 yes, middle finger isn't honorable action, but the man tried to pull out that boozy pig, but unfortunately he couldn't. Anyway people should not keep a silence in such situations this, when someone shows disrespect to surroundings.
