This ending scene always reminds me of my dad. His family doesnt show much emotion so when we do you know things are serious. Its always a reminder to me that being steadfast and strong is important for dealing with difficult situations

"I think I finally understand you" He wasn't talking to Buu right there. When he said "you," he was really thinking out loud about Goku. Vegeta has learned about family, about friends...the old Vegeta would never in a trillion years sacrifice himself for someone else, and could never understand why Goku would. And now, at long last, he finally gets it.

Piccolo tried his hardest not to disgrace Vegeta's final moments. Cuz he really wanted to say when Vegeta asked him will he meet Goku in the afterlife is, hell nah namekian, you just unalive a stadium of innocent people just to antagonize Goku to run the ones with you, and the only time you held your son is through a hug you just betrayed by chopping him in the neck, and you want to know will you meet a person who still today hold his punches against enemies who threatened to destroy his home. Nah my namekian, nah you not meeting him in the afterlife at all

This was my favorite Vegeta moment that put him as my favorite character in the Dragon Ball series. To see him give Trunks a hug before sacrificing himself was a sad moment as he realize there's more to life than just him getting stronger. Now he's doing everything to keep his family safe as well doing it for Goku. It amazing how Chris Sabat had to flip back and forth between voicing Vegeta and Piccolo. Yeah Vegeta changed but Vegeta done so much bad stuff and plus he just killed the crowd at the martial arts tournament so Vegeta fate was sealed.This scene with the Bruce Faulconer ost goes hard. Character development or not, there’s no reason to hate Vegeta. The only kind of people who hate him are soft hearted people and those who need coddling. He’s a realist and most people can’t take that, everybody wants the truth to come with a blanket and pats on the back!🤦🏾😂😂💯 If from the time you started walking you were taught nothing but battle, war, destruction and death what the hell do you expect you’d turn out like?!?! Raised by a tyrannical War obsessed King and groomed by a vicious blood thirsty egotistical alien(Frieza) Vegeta had no chance at being anything else!🤷🏾‍♂️💯💯

Weather you were raised up by a demon or not, I personally, can’t like a character who kills people for fun. Definitely needed some sort of character development into the WHY behind his actions. I can always logically understand that he’s a product of his environment though. Some times characters have to redeem themselves and grow, which he has done. Now he’s cool people, before this point absolutely not 😭

Man the rest of these episodes, pls put on the faulconer score . You couldn't get the full emotion of this episode just because of that reason . You weren't even able to drop a tear to Vegeta dying . It's not your fault tho, it's whoever put this shit up with the wrong music fault .

I’ve heard some of DBZ Kai’s tracks and the original OST, they have some great music but Faulconer did some scenes justice and this is an example of where Faulconer killed it with the music…Vegeta’s sacrifice is so much better with Faulconer, haven’t seen anyone yet not tear up listening to it while watching this
