Seems more like you are the one asking for hate. There is no need for confrontation, most artists write their songs using fiction anyway, and although the emotion and story behind Jolene is based off of her own experience, the name itself was actually based off of a little girl that dolly met at a fan meet and greet, and she loved her so much that she promised to write her next song with the little girls name in it, hence Jolene. This song is extremely creative, the vocals are amazing, and the lyrics provide an alternative perspective that flows with the emotion from the original song, so please take your hate elsewhere. Not to mention that Dolly is the sweetest human and would absolutely adore this song if she were to hear it😌
