Thank god, someone else who loves musical episodes! As much as I was able to tease that episode because of the constant involuntary singing spell and all of the characters being aware of it for the first few minutes before transitioning into just owning it, I adored the soundtrack made for that episode! The background instrumental was epic and the melodies were so Broadway-esque and my little theatre nerd heart could not handle it!

I just watched it a few days ago and I got so excited when I realized Barney was trans! And it’s done in such a neat, subtle way, especially with the whole “accepting me is the bare minimum!” as that hit really hard. There’s so little trans rep in media, especially media aimed at a younger audience and it means so much that they’re doing that, and it’s so important because I might just try to get my parents to actually use my proper name and pronouns *because of this* Anyway, just wanted to talk about that :D
