Countless other transpheres are still already in a great spot. It’s not the end of the world. Mystic / Base adult Gohan remains my favorite backup fighter in the game because his Ki blasts are all incredible for playing support in a fight. I mean, even white Frieza transpheres and supers are *really* good, but people rarely play him because he isn’t new.

There’s a lot of underlying issues with the game. Like the new rank system making nearly everyone super selfish after gold and the region lock. I also love the game but the developers seem to be deaf and NEVER listen to the players on any matter. If that were to change, I feel like this game could be one of the greats. Obviously not up there with DBD, but a great asymmetric game nonetheless.

Barrier-IT has entered the chat. This man has also clearly not run into a premade with a dedicated fighter. Build: Actives: After-Image, Solar Flare, Energy Barrier, Instant Transmission. Passives: Power beyond power, beyond super saiyan, power to change the future, unconscious control. When that fighter is backed up by a team of everyone else running double stuns you’re in for a bad time. Even worse if everyone on that team knows to collect and throw their sodas at super Time Machine spot for the endgame fight. Brought to you by a man with too many pre-made wins.

Does Apocalyptic Burst lock the raider in? I havent seen a single raider escape from it once it hits

Yes, even as a lower level landing a Meele super, indicated by the fist icon next to the Super Attack on selection screen, will usually hold the raider down for some time the same way landing a Meele attack would. Example: Yamcha as a level 1 would be stunned, damaged and knocked back by any level 2 or higher raider he tried to land a Meele hit on. However, landing a Meele Super Attack will allow level 1 Yamcha to hit and hold down a raider of any level. There are exceptions for Meele Supers that don’t hold the raider down however: Goten’s Charge, Bardock’s Rebellion Spear, one of Orange Piccolo’s two Meele supers. These all do immediate high damage upon landing, and instead will knock the raider back in the same way a rocket would. Orange Piccolo’s level four Apocalyptic Burst is in a unique spot, it’s got *massive* hit boxes after the initial hit, so sometimes even when you use an escape, some of the later parts of the ability will clip and stun you all over again. It’s totally balanced.

As someone who's played since the beta, there's a pretty heavy learning curve you'll have to accept when starting this game. People sweat a lot in this game, so you just have to accept that sometimes things will just go poorly for you and have to make the best you can out of every match.
