I forgot about Fergus, maybe he liked a job where he could stay fat and only work one night a year, and Im betting that the night Geralt and Ciri came was the 1st time he had to be more than a doorman letting people through. lol May have twisted his mind atleast a little with how fast he jumped to combat of the, was it unclean, the term he used before turning full Novigrad Bouncer.

That´s a good point actually, he probably never expected a fight and thought it would be easy grub and drink with very little work needed. Kind of makes me feel sorry for him considering he didn´t realize what he was getting himself into

He prolly did dispatch a few people. Surely someone other then Geralt wanted to force their way in or the need for Fergus would not have arisen. But I think it was likely easy to persuade him to serve the crones. General tendency does not an individual make. He may have been one of the more cruel specimens of his kind, especially because he was okay with helping the crones. Also we do not know how the more intelligent monster races saw the crones. They are enigmas. It is possible by monster standards the crones were benevolent and beloved patrons. So he may have had plenty of reason to work for the crones.

Jacob Freeman I agree with most of your points about Fergus but with the way they maintain the lock on the entrance to the chamber and the challenge you have to overcome to gain entrence when not selected but wanting in, like the diving into the cave and fiend, Im not certain how many non witchers could force their way to Fergus. Theres also the horde of foglets that dwell in the abanden site and Im guess if someone started to brute force the villagers, theyed show up as another form of novigrad bouncer. Fergus may be into working for the crones, but idk how many could reach that point that hes faced much combat.

found this channel a few days ago and i love you high quality content but i have one question tho. do you plan on branching out eventually like making cyberpunk2077 lore vids or something like that? you wont run out of witcher lore anytime soon but i think if you started reading up on cyberpunk lore and made videos about that especially BEFORE the game releases you would get a lot of traction and grow this channel

yeah you're right there isn't a lot of information but i've managed to find a few links that list a little bit of backstory here: cyberpunk.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline_(CP2020) cyberpunk.wikia.com/wiki/Lifestyle www.pcgamesn.com/cyberpunk-2077/cyberpunk-2077-factions-classes-characters-story-setting-lore Also i remember a video where they interviewed the guy who originally made the pen&paper and he talked about some ideas he and cdpr had for the new game. maybe you could make videos where in the beginning you tell us a little about the known lore and then give us your own speculation on how that will affect the game (since its set 50 years later) and start discussions in the comments. i don't know about anyone else but i would be interested in that
