Just switched from fire to frost. Hard to get into groups cause nobody wants frost. But they do almost the same if not more damage... love your video. Gives me hope

Thats sad lol. I'm a fire mage and I honestly believe Frost mage do more dmg in lower keys (Mythic 15 or lower). Fire mages only do a lot of dmg, if the tank is doing super crazy pulls. Fire mages are a Lil overated. People don't understand that the only reason Fire mages are needed in super high keys is because they can combust the prideful. I'll be switching to Frost next season for sure

Definitely a fun run to watch! One small thing I noticed is that when the brutes in the beginning (before first boss) were doing umbral crash you seemed to be moving out of the way of it. I'm not sure if this was for LOS purposes or what not but just figured I'd mention that the crash actually is just flat damage so you don't even have to dodge it! Standing under it will not make it do any extra damage to you (which is very deceptive lol). Anyhow with your other vid about unnecessary movement costing dps thought I'd point it out :D

insane deeps! Man i cant seem to get over 7k ~ , i do use FW legendary though , and primarily pug, but i see some of the other mages pulling 9+ with fw and i just dont know how. ( around 2070 IO)

Overall is always so relative to the group and dungeon. If you’re in a dungeon with lots of big potential pulls, and your tank pulls big (not a pack at a time) then you will get spicy overall. Also certain dps specs can reduce your damage overall because of the clash in damage profiles. Key level will also play a huge part to overall. As long as the key is timed, and you’re not far behind the other dps, that’s all that matters!

The icy propulsion conduit reduces the cd of icy veins! You can frost nova a pack when orb is out as the crits from orb will reduce icy veins cd as well 😊 I cannot find the original source of my plater profile so I will upload it to wago.io

You can frost nova a pack when orb is out for some free crits! Blizzard ticks this way won’t count towards icy propulsion but orb crits do

Any hope of hearing your thought process for each pack? Ive made big improvements by fully your full crit gearing and ive gained loads of dps becoz of it. Im now 224 with 28.7% crit

You get one charge every 45 seconds on its own, but you also get one when you press icy veins and because of the icy propulsion conduit you get a icy veins off cd often!

It’s probably just a mistake on my end! In high keys your mind is focusing on a million different things at once! Tracking each mob, each cast, stuns, interrupts, planning cds for packs coming up and everything else! Very rarely is it on my actual rotation so it’s most likely just a mistake my end 🥰

Intellect food will always be generally best! You can run two different sims and select different food buffs in the settings and see which one provides the larger number!

Glacial Fragments is good for large aoe dungeons however it lacks priority damage compared to Freezing Winds, plus freezing winds is good outside of aoe such as on bosses/prides/etc. I would always recommend Freezing Winds because of the usefulness for the group and dungeon in general

Mastery is least favoured on frost however item level will be an upgrade most of the time so always sim your gear using raidbots! You can also see my % stats from my weakaura on the left side of the screen 🥰

It was a bind for an on use trinket a while ago! Now I play two passive trinkets so the key binding freed up. I put fire blast in for the sake of having something there, sometimes I press it when I’m moving. Not for disciplinary command no!

There is a tech that I clearly am unaware of. How are you guys avoiding getting that huge bleed form Kaal in the gauntlet. She is dashing you you, but not applying the bleed? Lmao God tell what this is so I can tell my friends.

Before she dashes to a player she applies the bleed to anyone close to her in melee! Make sure you’re not close before she dashes to someone and she won’t apply it to you 😊

Yeah mage can be very squishy! You have to be super careful with the damage you take! The more you run the dungeons, the more you will learn the mechanics. Then you will take less avoidable damage plus learn when to pop defensives for unavoidable damage 🥰

@@Criicri83 I wasn’t eating crit food, I had run out of haste food that’s why you don’t see any! I used the intellect feast. Also always sim yourself and your trinkets as this is the only accurate way for you to know what’s an upgrade 😊

I've been playing Fire for most of SL now, being the "Meta" spec (Just easier to get into groups, and with a good tank on comms, its great), BUT I recently changed to Frost. Frost feels SO SO SO much better in M+. More frequent AoE burst, and messing up one CD rotation on a pack doesn't drop your dungeon dps by 1k overall. Combustion is amazing if the dungeon goes 100% smoothly, but fire really lacks the consistent dps that Frost brings for every pack. I'm sticking to Frost.

The damage you do with that leggo is only that great because of the affixes that week :P Yes, u still do nice damage, but because of those extra adds its just a perfect week to use that leggo. Do u also use that leggo with the orb?

Gotta edit also that you use your blizzard perfectly and when its on cd. The tank made sure it would stayed in your blizzard all day :) Nice play there man.

I would actually say the groups pulls help a lot more than the affixes! If you can pull big you will produce spicier damage :) I am new to youtube so I was limited in only having footage from last week! Other affixes and weeks incoming in the future 🥰 and yes I do use Freezing Winds too, its a solid leggo

No, but when you’re pushing keys 8-12 hours a day and discussing route, cooldowns, invis skips, etc at the start of every dungeon, you can forget to show it. In all videos the legendary used is always in the description, and in my newer videos I have a weakaura to show these things
