I stumbled upon the O'Keefe Music Foundation in July of 2018. Little did I know at that moment my life was about to change forever in the most amazing and devine way. Up until the moment I watched my first video of these absolutely amazing kids... people...angels, covering Tool's 46 and 2, also coincidentally the first time I'd actually heard the song at all...and I thought I was a huge Tool...fan, my life had taken a dark and dangerous path to almost certain demise. But literally in the lowest loneliest most hopeless moment of my life, suddenly there was light. Warm. Safe. Calming light in my life. Out of nowhere. It was the light from my Phone as I watched the The O'Keefe Foundation students cover, and very righteously cover, 46 and 2. I was speechless. Mesmerized. It was my salvation I was watching and listening to and it felt like nothing else has ever felt in the world. Not only hearing the lyrics and music for the first time and admiring in awe the raw talent and determination of these young adults, but simultaneously having the epiphany that it was all happening for a reason at the exact right time and place. Thank you all. Rock on.

I love this duet. The band is great! You can see that about half way through the song the band kinda relaxes and kinda falls into the song and starts having fun. I love what this foundation is doing for these kids. Sure, the talent and music is off the charts but more importantly what you see throughout all the videos is discovery. Kids discovering a voice, acceptance and a place in the creation of something. I've seen kids in some of the videos sing songs that you would never think possible and unbelievable talent showcased on instruments. The young ladies reaction at the very end is priceless. An outlet for kids that battle shyness, acceptance or just need a chance to try something new is crucial. It's cool that there are kids from 5 through the teenage years as well. Your foundation is simply awesome and thank you for what you are doing.

Excellent band. Excellent singers. Both of them. The female singer reminds me of a young Grace Slick. And that's saying a hell of a lot. The drummer takes a back seat to no one. slinky vagabond i had one that was cool like this but for after school only. 3 of us, normally ripping Nirvana, Green Day ( old Green day - 90's Era ), Weezer, and tons more. AS LONG, as we could break the music down to learning terms. average BPM, key being played in, measure count, when crescendo's and decrescendo's occured in vocal and guitar sequences, he would allow it. so we were both learning and enjoying it. principal was cool with it.
