Being an elder of the Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma I feel blessed to be able to hear the traditional songs of my Wendake brothers and sister's. My heart soars with pride and I am not ashamed to say tears flow from my eyes as I listen and wish that I too could sing the songs in my sweat lodge. Please continue your great work, it is appreciated more than my humble words can express! Tizameh!

I am also an elder of Wyandotte Nation. Ever since I first heard this recording about 2 years ago, I have made it my Morning Song to help me greet the day along with Wendat blessings. Tizameh for helping us connect with our Land and our Ancient Roots.

Fantastic music. A true culture, I feel bad for Natives. White man did a real injustice, just like any conquering people. I am white and am embarrassed about the whole thing. It I have grown to really appreciate native culture, what's left of it. Prior to white man, 150,000,000 natives lived in North America. The Governments don't teach that. 99 percent were lost. We white, are certainly not without blame. Far from it. Great music here! I for one, applaud it!!

@@tylermacdonald8924 150 M ? wow! Not disputing it, but I wonder if there is corroboration for that number? That's a huge holocaust times twenty-five!!! I often imagine in every place I look, what it was like before the European invasion plus the African slaves and Asian virtual-slaves, and others imported to "share" (in displacing the First Nation Peoples) lands and waters. I include also the invasive plants that people foisted upon this land, that are spreading like wildfire and are entirely displacing indigenous biodiversity. It must have been majestic, and pure beauty.

@@ameratsu28 when I think of Wendat / Wyandot / Ouendat / Huron I think of Central Ontario, Ste.Marie among the Hurons, near Midland, pushed up there from the shores of the "Beautiful Lake" aka Lake Ontario, by the Haudenosaunee Iroquois.

mtlicq yes, indeed. All the way down to the northern shoreline of Lake Ontario right up to Georgian Bay.. We Wendat and Wyandot(te)people are still alive and thriving all across our Confederacy from WENDAKE Qc, to Oklahoma. ❤️
