That's the kind of copper you need to melt and make your castings with. That way you can maximize your profit per pound of copper instead of just selling it for scrap price due to the amount of time you have invested in it. Again I enjoyed the video my friend and as always I enjoyed stopping by.

thank you, sometimes the item will look easy to break down and you will fight it all the way, and other things will be very easy, you never know, one stripped screw can make it hard

Good one Okie! Thanks for another great video. Also your boat is nice. I know nothing about them and hate fishing 😂 See you on the next one 👍

I grew up salmon and trout fishing, in western Washington State, I am not real big on fishing but I do like being out on the water in a boat. I plan to set out juglines and see how that works. bass fishing is less boring as you are casting your line all the time and moving along slowly. not just sitting watching a bobber.

honestly good work man. rather you scrap it than have it end up in the land fill that it would have otherwise.

the one I use is from Harbor Freight, I think it was about. $40.00 if you buy a cheap one you will have to baby it. I think I have had this one about 2 years now

ive always burned the coils they generally just come very loose after same #2 copper
@Okiescrapper Жыл бұрын
yes, loose and easy to cut with side cutters, some yards don't like the burnt wire, state law mostly, but if mixed in with unburnt wire they don't say a thing,

trailer wiring problems....then there is a burnt bulb some where on your truck for what you describe
@Okiescrapper Жыл бұрын
I think it is the bulb in the trailer light. I need to move them back, after making the extension on the trailer I can't see the lights. I did find my role of trailer wire. so I can just rewire the whole thing. with the tester I have the blinking up to the light but when I hook it to the wire from the light nothing. so I am sure it's the bulb, I had to do a ground wire to that light too.

I love ceiling fans and every bit of wire and copper does add up. With an air conditioner, you will be eating up your profits. Does your scrap yard penalize you for keeping the wire nuts on? I also cut them off. WD-40 is God sent and do not know what I would do without it. One of the worst things is going through all that work and the motor turns out to be aluminum. It is very frustrating. Being an old man with arthritis in my hands, power tools are God sent. My days of using brute strength are long gone. I stick to the money making metals. I really enjoy your videos and look forward to them. When does the weather become bearable? Keep Cool and God Bless! Just a side note, I remember when you could buy a cup of coffee for 50 cents.
@Okiescrapper Жыл бұрын
yes they don't like the wire nuts. I cut them off and put them in screw bucket, the weather is getting better, tends to cool off about the middle of September, today 89 and the next 5 days mid 70's. yes 50 cent coffee and free refills
