I love the channel Okie you speak from the heart and talk about what you know. I respect the fact you are a teacher you missed your calling but you live it now . Thanks for wanting to do this because it's fun to watch.

I appreciate that. this is a way that I can leave my mark, and help people to learn about scrapping, to make some money for whatever, and make life better for their families. I teach what I know

you are welcome, I got to thinking one day of all the knowledge that I had scrapping, and saw that there were a lot of new scrappers starting all the time and at the time most scrapping channels were dumpster divers, or curb scrappers, so I thought I could teach them how to break things down for the clean metals, I have learned a lot myself from doing this channel

Prayers for your wife Okie. Hope she gets the help she needs for her issue sooner than later 🙏. Thanks for another great video, you make it look so easy. Level up your work bench, it drives me crazy 😂. Looking forward to your next video 👍

Thank you Cathy, yes I need to level it up, things like to role off, but the floor of this work area runs up hill to the south, at the south door I had to dig a ditch and run a drain pipe under the floor,

At my yard, the strings are okay for #2, but if you get a motor where the end is taped, they want the tape taken off for #2. If it's not, they downgrade to #2 insulated. Hope they can get Mrs. Okie back on the mend soon!! I have learned since my rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis why they call a doctor's business a "practice". LOL!!

Saying a prayer for your wife. I have chronic pain, so I know all about being tired of being in pain and tired of pills. Please let her know that I totally understand!! Good video. You are an inspiration to me as well. I have been doing videos for almost 3 years and I still only have 223 people. I get discouraged but seeing older guys and gals do this helps me keep going. this scrapping community is full of such great people.

Ok I will let her know, I am glad that I could be an inspiration to you, I get a lot of needed inspiration from the comments of the subscribers as well, and yes there are a lot of good people in the scrapper community, Thanks for the comment and your prayers

#2 copper at my yard is $2.95. They don't mind the string but I still try to take it off. Doesn't make sense to make people take off the strings. It all burns off when they process it.

yes it does, and it would take a lot of them to make 1 pound of string.

I had to look it up, suprised it may have been from a fellow Canadian KZbinr lol "Who invented the saying send it? We sure hear it an awful lot here, but then again, there are a lot of climbers and snowboarders here. Some on Reddit claim that “send it” originated from a Canadian with a jean jacket and a snowmobile named Larry Enticer, whose viral KZbin video in which he crashes into a snowbank makes prominent use of the phrase." Awesome and informative video. Positive vibes going out to your wife. CHEERS!

thank you, interesting info on the phrase send it, some things catch on and spread like wild fire, think it is another way to say go for it.

yes I need to, just need to dig a little dirt out from under one leg, half of this room is close to level, the other half goes up hill to the south, by about 6 to 8 inches, I had to leave a good gap under the bottoms of the south doors as the slope rises up even more, and dig a ditch across the south doors with a drain pipe to divert water from flooding the shop
